My corsets/bodies.I made my own version of the effigycorset. I drew a patten from what I could see on pictures of the corset, and had a friend draw the lines on a rough toile fitted on me with pins. It is my first attempt ever on corsetmaking. And I was very surprised when it turned out so well. It fits perfectly!!It´s made of three layers of cotton. I have machine stiched the channels, but every thing else is handstiched. I used cableties as stiffeners. I considered this to be a testmodel. Therefore the cheap and incorrect materials.
